I wanted to announce the upcoming litter of Meyla (audurs dimmalimm) and Fenrir. I had planned on doing this breeding in the fall when Finn turned 2 but they had a different plan.
While I was in Kentucky for the dog show my husband found Meyla and Finn tied in the yard. I knew Meyla would be coming into heat that is why I was checking her to see if she was anywhere near coming in. As of Thursday morning she showed no signs of being in heat. Talking to the vet, she said this spring a lot of the dogs seem to be breeding either very early or very late. The best I can figure is Meyla was at the most on day 5, in the past she has never bred before day 10. Finn had all of his health testing done with a Penn-HIP score of .33 and .30. His CERF was done in November and it was clear. For puppies they should have some black Tri colors, tan/red shades and maybe even a Wheaton or cream. I will put up a pedigree of the 2 tomorrow.
