Meant to get these pictures up sooner, but hubby did something to the computer, so I could not download my pictures.  I finally figured it out.  I'll put one picture here and the rest under Meyla and Magni.

Meyla kept me on my toes by acting funny all day of the 26th.  Last time her labor start to finish was 6 hours...this time she decided to do it in 20 hours.  After 18 hours of acting like she was in early labor she finally started to deliver puppies at 3:16am to 5:24am.  Needless to say I had a very long night. The first female pup arrived at 3:16, the next female at 3:41, first male at 4:39, next male at 4:44, next male 5:17 and the last male at 5:24.  All the puppies weighed between 10.5oz to 12.8oz.  Obviously Meyla does not have tiny puppies.  They were all a good size.

Meyla is being a very good mom only leaving the pups to eat and go potty.  I just tried to get 1 day shots and it was working while Mey was eating but as soon as she was done she tried to pick up her crying pup and take it back to the whelping box.  I will get the rest when the kids get home.

Meyla is getting ready..her belly hair is falling out, she is resting alot and she keeps wanting to dig a den under the the fireplace bumpout, outside.  I have placed bricks all around it but I still hear her trying to move them.  I can feel the puppies moving when I put my hands on her belly..it's really a neat feeling.

Meyla is really starting to look huge!!  My daughter keeps telling me she is having 8 puppies!!  No, that's too many.  Two weeks and counting.  Here is a picture of her last week.

I'm trying to get our scanner to work and I will post health tests and the pedigree of the puppies.  All health tests were completed before breeding.

Meyla has started to really fill out and thicken in the middle.  In the next few weeks I should be able to feel the puppies moving.  Only 3 1/2 weeks to go!!  I will take a picture of Meyla today and post it and then another right before she delivers.
